SERVICE RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow the instructions below to send your unit in for service or repair.

  1. Remove the ZIPLEVEL stakes and Unipod (unless it needs servicing) to reduce shipping weight.

  2. Package your ZIPLEVEL in its original packaging if possible. Otherwise, wrap your unit in at least one inch of padding and pack into a strong corrugated box.

  3. Include your name, address, telephone number, fax number, email address, a brief description of the problem and any special instructions.

AVOID RETURNING YOUR ZIPLEVEL UNNECESSARILY

Some units have been returned with a dead battery, in a function unfamiliar to the customer, accidentally miscalibrated or with a normal annunciator flashing. If your ZIPLEVEL is sounding a steady tone with a flashing fraction bar simply press the Mark key for at least two seconds to exit the Mark function. Alternatively, if the unit was left an unfamiliar function, initialize your unit by pressing the entire top row of keys for at least two seconds and then recalibrate. Please note: Our minimum service charge is $50, which includes evaluation, cleaning, repackaging and return shipping by UPS Ground. This fee is waived with any service or repair performed.
